From my base at the heart of the European Alps in Grindelwald, Switzerland, I specialise in offering guided mountaineering, ice climbing, ski mountaineering and freeride skiing. The mountains around the Eiger, Matterhorn and Mont-Blanc may be the most famous of our area – but there are also many other gems in the Alps which I love to explore with my clients. I also offer international trips to destinations such as Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands and the wild mountains and frozen fjords of East Greenland.

Born and raised in the valley of Grindelwald as the son of a Mountain Guide, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with the mountains from an early age. After an apprenticeship as a mechanic I fully devoted my life to the outdoors. Since qualifying as a IFMGA Mountain guide in 2005 I follow this path full-time.

I love to travel and experience new places. Over the past decade I’ve guided many trips in Greenland, Patagonia, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Bulgaria and many other places. My greatest passion is mother nature in all its facets. There’s nothing I love more than exposing myself to the elements and feel the powers within them. Mountaineering, climbing, bouldering, telemarking, surfing are important parts of my life.
